Shenghe Resources: short-term limitation of Kvanefjeld Mine Project

Q: recently, Greenland passed legislation banning uranium mining and suspending rare earth projects. Under the circumstances that the Kvanefjeld mine project is limited in the short term, how can your company tamp the current rare earth resources of 40-50000 tons per year in REO/? In February 2021, your company reached a memorandum of understanding with RareX to establish a joint venture rare earth trading company. how is it going? Have you purchased rare earth raw materials from the trading company? Has your company made any new cooperation progress in the development of the Tomotor rare earth mine in Russia?

Shenghe Resources: we will closely monitor the progress of the Kovane Bay project in Greenland and will continue to adhere to the strategy of diversified raw material supply. The company shall perform its information disclosure obligations in strict accordance with the relevant provisions of the Stock listing rules of the Shanghai Stock Exchange. If the relevant matters meet the disclosure standards, the company will issue an announcement.

Northern Minerals' Dazzler rare earth mine in Western Australia saw its resource increase to 340,000 mt at a total rare earth oxide (TREO) grade of 2.1%, equating to 7,000 mt of TREO. The mine is the highest-grade heavy rare earth deposit in the Browns Range area, with ore tonnage increasing by 70% and grade rising by 40%. When the Browns Range project is developed, ore from the Dazzler deposit will be blended with ore from the Wolverine deposit.

Eclipse Metals Ltd's Gronnedal rare earth project in Greenland saw its ore resource increase to 208 million mt, with a total rare earth oxide grade of 0.72%, equating to 1.5 million mt of rare earth oxides, including 456,000 mt of Pr-Nd oxides. At a cut-off grade of 0.2%, ore tonnage grew by 234% and grade rose by 12%. The first-time indicated ore resource was estimated at 5.65 million mt.
