Battery China has learned that recently, Baoli received about 194000 lithium battery orders from a customer with a delivery date from July to October this year. Due to the commercial confidentiality agreement, Baolixin did not disclose customer-related information.
It is understood that Baolixin's current main products are cylindrical 32700 lithium iron phosphate batteries, which are mainly used in electric two-wheelers, electric tricycles, low-speed electric vehicles, leisure sightseeing vehicles and other "light transportation" fields.
In terms of production capacity, it is understood that Baolixin can achieve an annual production capacity of 400 million cells and an annual production capacity of 10 million battery packs this year.
It is worth mentioning that at present, Baolixin is still actively expanding the capacity of lithium batteries.
In April this year, Baolixin announced that the company plans to invest 7 billion yuan with the management committee of Zaozhuang High-tech Zone to build 10GWh PACK and 10GWh cell capacity projects to meet the product layout of the company's lithium battery products in the areas of electric bicycles, four-wheel low-speed cars, small energy storage and low-speed intelligent travel.
In November last year, Baolixin signed a "Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement" with the people's Government of Sanmenxia City. The two sides plan to build a northwest production base of the power battery project in Sanmenxia City, and carry out all-round cooperation on the establishment of a project company. According to the agreement, Baolixin plans to establish a northwest production base in Sanmenxia City, and the first phase will build a 2GWh power battery project in the urban-rural integration demonstration zone of Sanmenxia City, with an investment of 1.2 billion yuan.
Gao Baoqing, the new chairman and general manager of Baoli, revealed in an interview with Battery China that after he entered Watma (Poly's new predecessor), the company quickly launched three tasks: organizational restructuring, product quality improvement and industrial relayout. This time, Baolixin won 194000 customer orders, which may show that Baolixin is returning to the new energy track with a new attitude after a series of reforms and adjustments.
