Enjie invested 5.8 billion yuan to build 16 high-performance lithium-ion battery microporous diaphragm production lines and 39 coating lines

Enjie announced that the holding subsidiary Shanghai Enjie and the Management Committee of Changshou Economic and technological Development Zone will sign the Project Investment Agreement of Changshou Economic and technological Development Zone in Chongqing on January 8, 2021. Shanghai Enjie plans to invest in the construction of 16 high-performance lithium-ion battery microporous diaphragm production lines and 39 coating lines in Chongqing Changshou Economic and technological Development Zone, with a total investment of 5.8 billion yuan. The project funds shall be solved by means of self-financing and self-financing.

The project is divided into two phases, the first phase of the project plans to build 4 lithium-ion battery diaphragm production lines and 12 coating lines; the second phase of the project plans to build 12 lithium-ion battery diaphragm production lines and 27 coating lines, mainly to carry out lithium-ion battery diaphragm base membrane and coating membrane manufacturing, sales and so on. At the same time, the company intends to authorize management to handle relevant investment matters and sign relevant resolutions, agreements and other legal documents.
