According to SMM, national stainless steel production totaled about 2.5529 million tons in June, an increase of 162000 tons over May, an increase of about 6.81% month-on-month and 4.73% year-on-year.

The output of stainless steel of all series increased in June, among which the increase of 400 series was relatively large, mainly due to the resumption of normal production in the previous overhaul steel plant and the increase of production operation rate of a steel plant in South China. Among them, the output of series 300 increased by 86000 tons from the previous month to 1.297 million tons from the previous month, increased by 7% from the previous month, increased by 66000 tons from the previous month, and increased by 18% over the previous month.

The output of stainless steel in June reached the highest output value in the first half of the year, and has been close to the peak output level of last year. At present, steel mills have generally reached full load production, and the overall output has rebounded. Stainless steel production in July is expected to be stable compared with June, with a total output of about 2.53 million tons in July.
