SHANGHAI, Jun 10 (SMM) – Social inventories of refined zinc across Shanghai, Guangdong and Tianjin expanded over the holiday weekend, as downstream consumers held back from purchasing and some smelters maintained normal shipments.
SMM data showed that inventories across the three regions increased by 3,600 mt from Thursday June 6, and by 2,700 mt from Monday June 3, to stand at 144,100 mt as of Monday June 10. The gains were seen in Shanghai and Guangdong.
