Ren Zhengfei rarely shows up one after another to talk about Huawei, China's proud future has a long way to go.

SMM1, 21 March: in recent days, Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei has been interviewed by the outside media for three consecutive days, which is different from Ren Zhengfei, who has been silent for decades. He himself explained that this was forced by the Ministry of Public Relations. To see the media is to convey a kind of confidence to the society.

Ren Zhengfei told the media on the 15th that 2019 will be a difficult year for Huawei, with revenue growth likely to slow to less than 20 per cent. Asked by a reporter on the 17th what Huawei's main difficulties are, Ren Zhengfei said: "We feel that apart from difficulties, they are all difficulties, and there are no difficulties without difficulties." Another reporter asked if Huawei would fall next. Ren Zhengfei unexpectedly replied, "sooner or later, this is a philosophical proposition, not a realistic proposition."

Huawei has always been the pride of China, not only has a strong independent research and development capabilities, but also in this era of eager to cash out of the mud without staining, not listed itself is an awe-inspiring choice. This has to make people feel Ren Zhengfei's foresight. China needs far-sighted entrepreneurs like Ren Zhengfei, as well as Huawei, which has devoted itself to R & D for decades.

In fact, as early as 2013, Huawei announced that it would invest at least US $600 million in research and innovation in 5G technology over five years, and believed that it would be expected to commercialize 5G mobile networks from 2020, and earlier in 2009. Huawei has already begun research on early technologies related to 5G. With the gradual maturity of 5G technology, the formal commercial operation of 5G has also entered the countdown. At this time, the Western powers led by the United States began to gradually press Huawei. Huawei has been boycotted by the United States, Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan and other countries. Even if Canada does not hesitate to sever diplomatic relations with China, it wants to arrest Huawei's CFO Meng Yuanzhou, arousing great hatred among the people for a time. Many companies have encouraged their employees to buy Huawei mobile phones to support Huawei, but in the face of reality, Ren Zhengfei also has to admit that Huawei will have a tough time in 2019.

In the past 40 years of reform and opening up, China has made great economic achievements through the opening up of the market, the effective allocation of resources and the introduction of advanced foreign technology. Innovation is still what can really lead the sustainable development of the economy. Innovation can not only promote the upgrading of technology, but also create emerging markets and create new needs for the people. These are inseparable from excellent enterprises and outstanding entrepreneurs. In the future, not only Huawei's 5G will encounter setbacks in the world, but other high-end industries, including artificial intelligence, big data, quantum communications, and so on, are likely to be hit by the United States. China has a long way to go in the future.
