SHFE Zinc Price Up 2.35% (2017-7-12)

SHANGHAIM, Jul. 12 (SMM) – On Wednesday, SHFE 1709 zinc opened at RMB 23,280/mt and then fluctuated at around RMB 23,270/mt, up to as high as RMB 23,410/mt. During the afternoon trading, the contract fell to RMB 23,180/mt with longs taking profits, and rallied before closing at RMB 22,330/mt, up RMB 535/mt or 2.35%. Positions increased 19,222 to 304,000 and trading volumes rose 47,204 to 552,000 lots.

SHFE 1709 zinc will remain in upward track on Wednesday’s night trading.
