Hebei Eliminates 2,883 Polluting Plants, Galvanizers Take the Lion’s Share

SHANGHAI, Jun. 12 (SMM) – Hebei Province inspected 53,000 plants for environmental protection purpose recently. Of these plants, 2883 were eliminated. Most of these plants shut down were galvanizers, according to bjd.com.

During environmental protection checks, 5,200 are unqualified plants. 2,064 of them were punished immediately, and 1,480 of them were required to rectify.
