SHANGHAI, Sep. 21 (SMM) - China-based Hailiang Group aims to expand combined copper pipe capacity to 600,000 tonne per year to become world top copper pipe producer, according to ifeng.com.
Hailiang Group to Put Online Two 25,000 tpy High-Quality Copper Pipe Projects Soon
The company announced September 21 that it plans to construct new high-end copper pipe production lines in Guangdong, Anhui, Shanghai, Vietnam and the US to improve product portfolio and push internationalization strategy.
According to the strategy, it will construct 75,000-tpy precise copper pipe line in Guangdong in three years, with total investment of 400 million yuan, and invest 270 million yuan in 50,000-tpy precise copper pipe line in Shanghai. The strategy also includes 50,000-tpy precise copper pipe project worth 360 million yuan in Vietnam and 50,000-tpy precise copper pipe project in the US, with investment of 540 million yuan.
