Jiangsu Tongtai Put online 400,000-tpy High-Conductivity Copper Rod Project

SHANGHAI, Mar. 10 (SMM) - Jiangsu’s Tongtai High-Conductivity Copper Wire Co. put online its 400,000-tpy high-conductivity copper rod project February 23, according to cnmn.com.

The project introduces the most advanced SCR7000 continuous casting and rolling line from the US and copper semis production line from Germany’s Niehoff. It was started in June 2014, and produces 8mm bare bright copper rod, capitalizing on its own anode copper.
