SHANGHAI, Oct. 16 (SMM) – Lifan Industry Group registered motorcycle sales of 65,900 in September, growing 4.7% from August, stock.eastmoney.com reported.
In September, motorcycle production came at 55,700 at the company, down 9.59% MoM. Overall, the company sold and produced passenger vehicles at 17,400 and 16,100, respectively, up 108.6% and 101.61% from August.
Gasoline engine sales increased 10.62% MoM to 35,100 in September, versus a growth of 23.72% MoM to 30,300 in production. In the same period, the company also sold 107,500 motorcycle engines, down 12.81% month on month, with production up 2.19% MoM to 141,300.
