Aluminum stocks in China’s five major markets ballooned to more than 1 million tonnes after the Chinese National Day Holiday, SMM data showed.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 8 (SMM) – Aluminum stocks in China’s five major markets surged 61,000 tonnes after the Chinese National Day Holiday, SMM data showed.

SMM attributes the surge to arrivals over the week-long holiday and interruptions of trading activity.
