SHFE Zinc Prices Closed with Losses (Sept. 29, 2015)

SHANGHAI, Sept. 29 (SMM) – SHFE 1512 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 13,300/mt Monday evening, then edged up as a large number of shorts left the market, and closed at RMB 13,485/mt, down RMB 75/mt. Trading volumes were 45,594 lots. Total positions decreased 796 to 147,000.

SHFE 1512 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 13,485/mt on Tuesday, and fell to RMB 13,370/mt, and closed at RMB 13,435/mt, down RMB 125/mt or 0.92%. Trading volumes were up 31,560 to 118,000 lots. Total positions increased 3,506 to 151,000.
