According to customs data, China's export volume of bismuth trioxide stood at 898.429 tons in April 2026, compared with 1,100.233 tons recorded in March 2026. On a month-on-month basis, exports continued to decline and fell below the 1,000-ton mark once again.
In terms of overall export volume fluctuations, China’s monthly exports of bismuth oxide have maintained a rising trend almost every month since September 2025. This indicates that domestic bismuth oxide manufacturers remain highly active in export business, with overseas demand rising markedly. Although April saw a slight drop in exports, the decline was modest, and the volume still remained on an upward trajectory compared with that in January and February.
Market insiders hold the view that as the second quarter ushers in the peak season of the international market, China’s export volume of bismuth trioxide is highly likely to keep growing in May.
