SMM, June 17 — According to an official announcement from a Hunan-based company, a competitive bidding sale has been launched today for 600 physical tonnes of bismuth concentrate produced in June 2026. Registration and bid submission close at 15:30 on June 18. The material specifications are as follows: bismuth content 18% ≤ Bi < 45%, moisture 15% ≤ H₂O < 25%, silver approximately 200–600 grams per tonne, and gold approximately 1.5 grams per tonne. Settlement quantities will be based on actual on-site weighing.
The 600 physical tonnes of bismuth concentrate are currently held at the company's storage center. Per the official notice, there will be only one round of bidding for the full 600 physical tonnes, with settlement quantities determined by on-site sampling and weighing. The winning bidder is required to collect the material within three business days of being awarded the contract.
Given that the bidding window spans just a single day, market participants speculate that the probability of a successful transaction is relatively high.
