[India] Alang HMS 80:20 ship-breaking scrap in Gujarat rose to USD 353/tonne EXW as persistent rainfall disrupted cutting activity and tightened processed scrap supply, while interstate buyers remained active due to relatively lower prices. However, weak finished steel demand kept mills buying only as needed. Bhavnagar billet and Ahmedabad rebar fell, while Mandi Gobindgarh scrap and billet edged higher, though trades remained thin and regional sentiment cautious.

[Thailand] According to SMM survey, the wire rod quotation from a steel mill in east China to Thailand remained stable, but Thai buyers are largely unwilling to accept the price of 570 USD/tonne for 82B during the off-season. Meanwhile, demand in north China performed weaker, so sellers are more willing to compete at lower prices. Therefore, overall, before demand recovers, wire rod prices to Thailand are unlikely to stabilize and still have room to decline.
