GAC Affiliate Targets GWh-Scale Production of Solid-State Batteries by End-2026

According to Interesting Engineering, Greater Bay Technology, an advanced technology subsidiary of GAC Group, announced on April 15 (local time) that it has completed production of A-sample (early prototype) cells for fully solid-state batteries with an energy density of 260–500 Wh/kg.

The company plans to begin GWh-scale mass production by the end of 2026.
