FINO posts Q1 operating profit of KRW 9.5 billion

Secondary battery materials company FINO disclosed on May 15 that its consolidated operating profit for the first quarter reached KRW 9.5 billion, up 17,620.8% from a year earlier.

Revenue for the same period increased 96.8% year on year to KRW 109.1 billion, while net profit turned positive at KRW 8.9 billion.

[SMM]Gotion Unveils 400 Wh/kg Solid-State Batteries, Plans Mass Production and Expanded Lithium Sulfide Capacity
[SMM]Gotion High-Tech today unveiled its latest solid-state battery developments at the company's 15th Global Technology Conference. Following upgrades to its cell technology, the energy density has reached 400 Wh/kg. The company's 2 GWh solid-state battery mass production line is currently under construction, with customers across multiple application scenarios already engaged. According to the roadmap, Gotion High-Tech's annual lithium sulfide production capacity is planned at 300 tonnes this year, scaling to 20,000 tonnes by 2027 and 50,000 tonnes by 2030, in order to meet the demand for 150 GWh of solid-state batteries.
