Japan Considers Mandatory Collection of EV Batteries

According to Nikkei Asia on June 16 local time, Japan’s Ministry of the Environment and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry reviewed a policy report last week outlining revisions to the Automobile Recycling Law.

The ministries officially decided to launch a working group this summer to establish a comprehensive recycling system for used EV batteries.
