Fuyang Approves $33M Lithium Battery Recycling Project with 20,000 Tons Annual Capacity

The Fuyang Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment in Anhui Province published a pre-approval notice for the environmental impact report of an Anhui company’s retired lithium battery material resource recycling and regeneration project. The total investment is 230.51 million yuan, and the site is in the Taihe Economic Development Zone. The project will construct a lithium battery dismantling workshop, a comprehensive utilization workshop, raw material and finished product warehouses, and other facilities. Primarily engaged in lithium battery recycling, echelon utilization, processing, and dismantling, the project will achieve an annual treatment capacity of 20,000 tons of waste lithium batteries after completion.
