Among them, exports to China were 22,956 mt, up 21.29% MoM and up 47.67% YoY; exports to South Korea were 3,489 mt, down 45.34% MoM but up 32.47% YoY; exports to Japan were 1,160 mt, down 10.74% MoM but up 48.05% YoY. In April 2026, Chile's total lithium sulfate exports were 12,100 mt, all exported to China, down 26.85% MoM but up 33.57% YoY.

Recently, the Sichuan-Chongqing UHV AC reinforcement project received approval from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). With a total investment of 15.46 billion yuan, the project will construct two new 1000 kV substations in northern Sichuan and eastern Chongqing, adding 12 million kVA of transformer capacity, and build 2×490 km of 1000 kV double-circuit lines including the Chuanbei–Yudong–Bayue route. It is reported that this project is an important component of the Sichuan-Chongqing UHV AC backbone grid, capable of supporting the integration of the Xinjiang-to-Sichuan/Chongqing DC receiving-end converter stations and electricity consumption. It is also one of the 12 national planned power flexible mutual support projects, which is conducive to enhancing inter-provincial power mutual support, surplus-deficit complementation, and emergency accident assistance capabilities between Sichuan and Chongqing. The project is of great significance for ensuring safe and reliable power supply in our province and supporting the construction of a unified national electricity market.

Recently, Taiyuan's first Zhichu 100 MW standalone ESS power station was connected to the power grid at full capacity. The project is Taiyuan's first standalone ESS power station, marking a new breakthrough and a key step forward in the city's construction of a new-type power system. The Taiyuan Zhichu 100 MW standalone ESS power station is a key project under Shanxi Province's "14th Five-Year Plan" for new-type energy storage development. Covering an area of approximately 29 mu, with a total investment of 390 million yuan and a total installed capacity of 50 megawatt hours, the station adopts the highly safe hybrid technology of "flywheel energy storage + LFP battery." Composed of 12 prefabricated modular energy storage units, it functions as a large-scale "super power bank," capable of storing or releasing 50,000 kWh of electricity per hour, meeting the daily electricity needs of nearly 30,000 households simultaneously.
