Alcoa Maintains 2026 Guidance, Forecasts Q2 EBITDA Impact

[SMM Aluminum Express News] According to Alcoa Corporation’s Q1 2026 results announcement, the company maintained its full-year 2026 guidance. Alumina production is expected to be between 9.7 and 9.9 million metric tons, while shipments are projected at 11.8 to 12.0 million metric tons. Aluminum production is forecast at 2.4 to 2.6 million metric tons, with shipments between 2.6 and 2.8 million metric tons. For the second quarter of 2026, Alcoa expects a $15 million sequential unfavorable impact on Alumina segment Adjusted EBITDA, while the Aluminum segment is projected to see a $55 million favorable impact.
