Air Conditioner Export Unit Prices Rose in the First Two Months

Published: Apr 15, 2026 10:38
ChinaIOL data showed that China's household air conditioner exports declined 8.1% and 6.8% YoY in January and February 2026 respectively, while unit prices rose 1.4%. The export landscape exhibited several noteworthy new changes: first, recovery signals in the European market were relatively clear, with Western European countries generally posting growth and Russia's decline narrowing; second, geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East began to substantively affect trade flows, with major markets such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE starting to decline from February, while Israel grew against the trend; third, Africa and Oceania maintained robust growth momentum, having transformed from supplementary markets in the past into stable forces.
