Washi Power Secures Tens of Millions in First-Round Financing for Sodium-Ion Battery Expansion

Published: Mar 23, 2026 17:51
Recently, Washi Power (Guangdong) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Washi Power") officially completed its first-round financing transaction worth tens of millions of yuan. The achievement of this critical period not only injected strong financial momentum into the company's entire industry chain layout for sodium-ion batteries, but also marked the capital market's dual recognition of Washi Power's technical roadmap, R&D capabilities, and industrialisation implementation capacity, laying a solid foundation for the company to enter a new phase of industrialised and scaled development of sodium-ion batteries. The raised funds will be primarily allocated to deepening core technology R&D, expanding capacity scale, and broadening market channels. Among these, the construction of Washi Power's industrialisation base in Nanjing will serve as a core project to accelerate overall progress, helping the company establish a full-process industrialisation closed loop from core materials to battery modules and seize the critical window period for the scaled implementation of the sodium-ion battery industry.

Warrant Outflow Expectations Pressure SHFE Copper Premium, Shanghai-Guangdong Price Spread Continues to Widen [SMM Shanghai Spot Copper]
[SMM Shanghai Spot Copper] Looking ahead to next week, on the supply side, some delivery warrants have already begun to flow out during the day, exerting downward pressure on spot premiums. Market concerns over the concentrated release of warrants going forward persist, and suppliers have a strong willingness to sell, putting spot premiums for Shanghai copper under pressure. On the demand side, copper prices saw a slight correction, and downstream procurement was mainly driven by rigid demand, with insufficient willingness to chase higher prices. In addition, the intraday price spread between Shanghai and Guangdong spot premiums continued to rise to around 150 yuan/mt. The strong premiums in Guangdong may provide some support to Shanghai market sentiment, but it is difficult to reverse the overall weak supply-demand pattern in the short term. Overall, spot copper prices against the SHFE copper 2605 contract are expected to remain at current levels next Monday.
