Haiwei's 1B Yuan NEV Lightweight Project Set for 2026 Launch in Wuping

[SMM Aluminum Express] According to relevant reports, the Haiwei New Energy Vehicle Lightweight Products Production Project, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, has completed key approval procedures in Wuping County and is fully ready for construction. The planning and design of the first-phase plant is accelerating and is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2026. It is reported that the project is invested in and constructed by Ningbo Haiwei, a national-level specialized and sophisticated "Little Giant" enterprise, which has deep expertise in the core field of NEV lightweighting, focusing on the R&D and production of key products such as automotive hoods, battery packs, and integrated die-cast auto body components. Leveraging 73 independent patents and core advantages in die-casting technology, Ningbo Haiwei has established in-depth cooperation with top-tier enterprises such as Tesla and Huawei. Upon reaching full production, the project is expected to generate annual tax revenue exceeding 15 million yuan.
