SMM, January 16: According to SMM's tracking of 1-10kV general industrial and commercial electricity prices, the maximum peak-valley electricity price spread exceeded 0.7 yuan/kWh in 15 regions nationwide in January. Starting from January 2025, Heilongjiang and Sichuan suspended the use of critical peak period electricity prices, while 19 regions continued to implement critical peak period electricity prices. This month, some regions, such as Beijing and Jiangxi, increased critical peak period electricity prices, but the prices remained the same as peak electricity prices.
