New Year Investment Promotion "Good Start"! Two Key Projects Successfully Signed in Our County

On January 7, our county successfully signed two major projects, each exceeding 1 billion yuan in investment: the Shangdu County Industrial Park Green Power Supply Project and the construction project of six 45,000 KVA fully enclosed high-carbon ferrochrome electric furnaces and supporting facilities, achieving a "good start" in investment promotion! This is a concrete action by Shangdu County to resolutely implement the spirit of the 11th Plenary Session of the 9th Autonomous Region Party Committee and the Regional Economic Work Conference, as well as the 9th Plenary Session of the 5th Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Economic Work Conference. It is of great significance for strengthening and optimizing the green ferroalloy industry, extending our county's industry chain, accelerating the aggregation of advantageous industries, and enhancing the momentum of economic development.

Yang Wenhui, Secretary of the County Party Committee, attended the signing ceremony and congratulated the successful signing of the projects. He stated that the successful signing and implementation of the projects vividly reflect our county's efforts to implement the "Six Actions" of the Autonomous Region and promote the high-quality development of the city's "Six Pillar Industries." It plays a positive role in developing new productive forces and expanding advantageous characteristic industries in our county. Shangdu County will continue to uphold the "shop assistant" service spirit, strive to create the best business environment, and fully ensure all service and support work, helping enterprises to grow stronger, better, and bigger. He expressed hope that enterprises would take this signing as an opportunity to reverse schedule timelines, accelerate project construction progress, and promote early implementation, early operation, and early results.

Gao Hanying, Chairman of Shangdu County Yetai New Materials Co., Ltd., stated that the company will focus on production and operations, strengthen investment guarantees, and closely cooperate with all parties to promote the early completion, full production, and effectiveness of the project.

It is reported that Shanghai Electric New Energy Development Co., Ltd. will develop and construct a 370,000 kW Shangdu County Industrial Park Green Power Supply Project within Shangdu County, with a total investment of approximately 2 billion yuan.

Shangdu County Yetai New Materials Co., Ltd. will construct six 45,000 KVA fully enclosed high-carbon ferrochrome electric furnaces and supporting facilities, with a total investment exceeding 1 billion yuan. Upon completion, the project will produce 550,000 mt of high-carbon ferrochrome annually, with over 85% of the power used being green electricity.
