This die-casting zinc alloy survey included 14 companies, with a total capacity of 333,700 mt/year. According to SMM communications, the holiday duration for enterprises is generally around 12-30 days. SMM estimates that the average holiday duration this year is approximately 19 days, a decrease of 6 days compared to last year's 25 days. A few enterprises only take 1-2 days off or follow the statutory holiday schedule. Some enterprises in Guangdong indicated that the Chinese New Year break would generally be postponed by about a week after the local electroplating plants' holiday schedule. For example, in the Foshan area, local electroplating plants are mostly scheduled to start their holiday around January 12, so alloy plants typically plan to begin their holiday around January 20. Regarding holiday arrangements, many enterprises stated that they have only made preliminary plans, and the actual situation will still depend on subsequent downstream consumption.
