Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 12, Chery Holding celebrated a historic achievement of becoming the first Chinese automaker to export over one million vehicles within a single calendar year.

This milestone shipment departed from Chery's port in Wuhu city, as 332 units of the OMODA5 set sail for Belgium via a combined river-sea transport route, a journey expected to take around two months.

According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), China exported a total of 4.1 million passenger vehicles from January to October this year, with Chery Holding contributing nearly 940,000 units. This achievement signifies that one in every four Chinese passenger vehicles exported this year is a Chery model.

Cumulatively, Chery Holding has so far exported over 4.3 million vehicles, making it the first Chinese auto brand to surpass the 4-million-unit mark.

Chery's global business strategy, anchored in the principles of "In China, For Global" and "In Somewhere, For Somewhere," is designed to meet diverse market demands by tailoring vehicle compliance, adaptability, and competitiveness for each region.
