【Grid Connection of CNNC Shandong Weifang 100MW/200MWh Energy Storage Project】On July 1, the first phase (100MW/200MWh) of the energy storage project in Gudi Street, Hanting District, Weifang City, Shandong Province, invested and constructed by China Nuclear Power Huineng Limited, successfully achieved grid connection. The project, ranked first on the list of 53 new energy storage projects in Shandong Province in 2023, is included in the key signed projects of Shandong Province. With an investment of 500 million yuan, the first-phase grid-connected construction scale is 100MW/200MWh, equipped with 30 energy storage units with a capacity of 3.354MW/6.708MWh, adopting lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system with high safety, long service life, and lower cost.
