Last week, PV cell prices stabilized, with mainstream prices of P type and N type cells being inverted. On one hand, silicon wafers struggled with losses; on the other hand, Topcon cells were in surplus. Many new cell makers lowered prices to ship products, dragging down the market's average transaction price. Mainstream producers were significantly passive in pricing, with current mainstream PERC and Topcon prices at parity. Last week, several cell makers updated their production reduction plans due to weak demand and losses upon shipment. The scope of production cuts will expand, and small factories are gradually shutting down. Meanwhile, large factories are still ramping up their production. Overall, the scheduled production of PV cells in June is 58.69 GW, with a MoM decrease of 5.4%, and the actual production is expected to be lower than the planned volume.
