The mainstream traded prices of 182mm monocrystalline silicon wafers were 1.6-1.7 yuan/piece, versus 2.1-2.2 yuan/piece for 210mm and 1.5-1.65 yuan/piece for N-type 182mm silicon wafers this week. At present, the overall output of silicon wafers has decreased, with many second and third-tier companies cutting about 50%. In addition, easing inventory pressure and cost support helped stabilise silicon wafer prices temporarily. However, it is worth noting that 1.7-1.8 billion pieces held by two leading companies highlight the overall great inventory pressure. Their future production schedules will also exert a profound impact on silicon wafer prices.
