SMM Tin Review: Shanghai Tin Prices Strongly Rise, the Gap between Domestic and Foreign Tin Inventories Widens
In early trading today, Shanghai tin prices opened high and continued to rise, maintaining a strong trend. While a few downstream enterprises conducted just-in-time purchases, most downstream enterprises chose to adopt a wait-and-see approach due to high prices. Most trading companies reported little to no transactions or sporadic transactions, with only a few completing transactions for around one car. Overall, the spot market transactions were relatively quiet today. The tin warehouse receipts in the Shanghai Futures Exchange increased by 142 tons to 12,682 tons, while LME tin inventories decreased by 75 tons to 4,290 tons.
