Data from the General Administration of Customs on March 7 showed that China’s steel exports were up 32.6% YoY at 15.912 million mt, and its average export price was $791.7/mt, down $374.2/mt YoY.
From January to February, China’s steel imports were down 8.1% YoY at 1.131 million mt, and the average import price was $1,650.8/mt, down $91.7/mt YoY.
From January to February, China imported 209.452 million mt of iron ore and concentrates, up 8.1% YoY, and its average import price was $131.1/mt, up $15.8/mt YoY.
