Public Participation Second Announcement for Environmental Impact Assessment of Guangxi Tiandong Jinhong Mining's Annual 1.5 Million Tons of Bauxite Project

On December 26th, the Tiandong Ecological Environment Bureau announced the second public disclosure of the "Guangxi Tiandong Jinhong Mining's Annual 1.5 Million Tons of Bauxite Project" in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Interim Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment" (State Environmental Protection Administration Huanfa [2006] No. 28). The project covers a total of 50 acres of land and includes the construction of one two-story office building, two production lines for crushing, and an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons of bauxite. The project will also require an annual total electricity consumption of 1 million kilowatt-hours (the project does not involve bauxite mining, ore washing, or alumina production, but only bauxite ore crushing and screening).
