Ford China’s annual exports hit record high of over 100,000 vehicles in 2023

Beijing (Gasgoo)- In the early hours of December 5, a large cargo ship departed from Shanghai, carrying the latest batch of Ford models destined for the Middle East. This shipment marked a significant milestone for Ford China, surpassing the annual exports of 100,000 vehicles in 2023—a historic record for the company's outbound vehicles from China to international markets.

In response to the rapid growth in export market demand, Ford China is intensifying its vehicle export operations, positioning it as a pivotal aspect of the company’s new China strategy. By reinforcing collaborations with domestic partners and leveraging engineering, manufacturing capabilities, and cost controls, Ford China aims to accelerate its vehicle export business. Utilizing advanced R&D technologies and leveraging its strong global sales network, Ford intends to propel more Chinese-manufactured cars into the global market.

Presently, Ford China's vehicle export operations primarily target overseas markets in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the Americas. To cater to specific demands of overseas consumers, Ford China customizes and adapts vehicle models for different destination countries. 

In the pursuit of fostering mutual growth and deepening collaborations, Ford remains committed to leveraging its partners' expertise in R&D and manufacturing.
