"SMM Hot Rolled Coil Inventory Count: Demand Resilience Still Adequate, National Inventory Decreases for 9 Consecutive Weeks

This week, SMM statistics show that the social inventory of hot-rolled coils in 69 warehouses across the country (large sample) is 3.603 million tons, a decrease of 145,400 tons from last week, a decrease of 3.88%, and a continuous decrease for 9 weeks.

This week, domestic production of hot-rolled coils has decreased; in terms of demand, the recent market has strong macroeconomic expectations, and terminal procurement demand has increased. Overall, the inventory decline is good this week.
