"China Energy Construction Electric Power Engineering Investment and Shaanxi Institute Investment and Construction Co., Ltd. integrated project – Baota District Madongchuan Town agricultural complementary photovoltaic power generation project has been successfully connected to the grid on October 31.
This project is a key project of the Yan'an City and Baota District governments. The planned AC side installed capacity of the project is 100 megawatts, and the DC side installed capacity is 120.30876 megawatts. A new 110 kV boosting station will be built, and it is intended to connect to the Changlei 110 kV line with a T-connection. The photovoltaic support frame adopts a fixed adjustable support frame, with four adjustments per year.
According to calculations, during the 25-year operation period, the project's average annual grid-connected electricity generation is 158.5059 million kilowatt-hours, with an annual utilization hours of 1317.49 hours. It can save approximately 47,551.8 tons of standard coal per year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 123.63 thousand tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by approximately 1312.4 tons, and nitrogen oxide emissions by approximately 913 tons per year."
