According to joint consultation between the Provincial Ecological Environment Emergency and Heavy Pollution Weather Early Warning Center, the China Environmental Monitoring Station, and the Provincial Meteorological Disaster Prevention and Environmental Meteorological Center, starting from October 27, weakening diffusion conditions and pollutions in Tangshan will lead to moderate and above pollution processes. After research and decision, on the premise of ensuring safety, the city launched a Level II emergency response to heavy pollution weather from 12:00 on October 27, 2023.
