BlueFloat Energy recently announced that its Winds of September floating offshore wind project in Taiwan has been approved by the Taiwan Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Review Committee. The project is part of the third round of auctions in the Taiwan offshore wind market. This is the first project launched by BlueFloat Energy in Taiwan last year. The floating wind farm is located 25 kilometers from the coast, covering an area of about 125 square kilometers with a water depth of about 64-96 meters. The project is planned to have a capacity of 1000MW.
It is reported that BlueFloat Energy is an energy development company headquartered in Madrid, Spain, which has been increasing its investment and development in global offshore wind in recent years.
