Waitoushan Iron Ore Mine Lowered Cost By 22.9 Million Yuan In The First 5 Months Of The Year

​​​​​​The Waitoushan Iron Ore Mine mine made every effort to overcome unfavourable factors such as narrow stope space and completed a combined 20.4872 million mt of mining and stripping from January to May, a year-on-year increase of 6.3191 million mt; ore recycling from dump site stood at 1.35 million mt, up 471,000 mt year-on-year.

The mine raised ore grades and improved management level. From January to May, the output of iron ore concentrate was 1.202 million mt, up 106,900 mt from the same period last year.
