The Ministry of Finance (MOF) issued a statement stating that recently, there have been forged pictures and information of "Financial Bonds of the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China” circulating on social media.
The MOF made a statement saying that the bonds issued by the Ministry of Finance are all treasury bonds, no financial bonds have been issued, and physical treasury bonds have not been issued since 1997.
Information about the Ministry of Finance's government bond issuance system, the list of members of the underwriting syndicate, and the issuance time, term, and interest rate of each issue of government bonds are published on the official website of the Ministry of Finance.
