SHANGHAI, May 4 (SMM) – The total inventory of HRC across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 3.37 million mt as of May 4, up 107,300 mt or 3.29% from a week ago, a drop of 10.34% on the year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 2.26 million mt, up 110,900 mt or 5.17% from a week ago, a drop of 14.29% on the year.
The in-plant inventory of steel makers totalled 1.11 million mt, down 3,600 mt or 0.32% from a week ago, and a drop of 1.09% on the year.
