Shanghai's First Industry-University-Research Integrated Power Battery Recycling Enterprise Was Established

On April 15, Shanghai's first "industry-university-research" integrated power battery harmless treatment enterprise - Shanghai Power Battery Recycling Center was unveiled in Anting Town, Jiading District.

It is understood that the Shanghai Power Battery Recycling Center was established by Shanghai state-owned enterprises such as Baobao Group, Anting Industry, Shanghai City Investment, and Shanghai Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. At present, the technical team and recycling network are in place, and the first production line is expected to be completed in 2024.

Shanghai Power Battery Recycling Center innovatively uses the integrated operation mode of "industry-university-research" to link government, enterprises, universities and other resources to promote the rapid implementation of the latest technologies for power battery recycling.

The technical team experts of the center come from East China Normal University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Shanghai University and many other domestic scientific research institutes, and have mature experience in patented technology and project implementation.
