SHANGHAI, Apr 28 (SMM) - The wait-and-see sentiment still prevailed in the eastern Liaoning iron ore market yesterday. Dressing plants are unsatisfied with the current iron ore prices and plan to sell after the Labour Day holiday. Traders barely received orders from steel mills. Steel mills slowed downed purchases significantly in anticipation of even lower prices in the future. As production restrictions on steel mills threatens iron ore demand, local prices may still face downside risks.
