The China Iron and Steel Association Calls on Steel Mills to Cut Production

SHANGHAI, Apr 26 (SMM) - Recently, steel prices in the domestic market have kept falling rapidly, posing severe challenges to the production and operations of steel mills. In hope of alleviating the difficult situation, the Iron and Steel Association has called on steel mills to take the initiative to reduce their production so as to safeguard the stable operations of the steel market. This could also help avoid wasting cash flows on finished product inventories.
