SMM Statistics on Port Shipments of Steel Products under Domestic Trade during April 8-14

SHANGHAI, Apr 17 (SMM) – SMM statistics showed that China’s steel product port shipments under domestic trade totalled 5.92 million mt in the week of April 8-14, up 1% week-on-week.

Steel product arrivals across Chinese ports under domestic trade were 5.44 million mt last week, up 11% on a weekly basis.

Exports of steel and related products

Port shipments outside China were 1.45 million mt last week, up 20% from a week ago. Shipments by Chinese ports for exports were 1.62 million mt, flat from a week ago.
