China Copper Cathode Imports Estimated at 260,000 Mt in Mar

SHANGHAI, Apr 13 (SMM) - Copper cathode premiums in China's surrounding regions such as Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia stood high. In China, the prices of imported copper under long-term and small orders diverged, and the spot premiums hovered at lows amid longstanding import losses, which caused some spots to be transferred to areas such as South Korea and Southeast Asia for delivery. The copper cathode imports in March are expected to be around 260,000 mt.
