China Rebar Stocks down 1% on Week

SHANGHAI, Apr 6 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 10.25 million mt as of Thursday April 6, down 106,800 mt or 1% from a week ago, and down 16.1% from the same period last year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 7.4 million mt, down 34,200 mt or 0.46% on the week, and a drop of 17.9% on the year.

The in-plant inventory stood at 2.84 million mt, down 72,600 mt or 2.5% on the week, and down 11.1% on the year.
