TotalEnergies, a French energy giant, today announced its financial reports for the fourth quarter of 2022 as of December 31, 2022, and the annual report for 2022. The data showed that the adjusted net profit for the whole year of 2022 reached a record high of $36.2 billion, twice the level of 2021. Since the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the prices of oil and natural gas have ballooned for most of 2022, and the overall profit level of the traditional energy industry has surged.
